Who is Bossy?
Bossy is a man whose name is Bossy. He is also a lot older now than when he was 5 or 6. Age does not weary him though. Bossy battles on through the galactic politics of earth and sherinon 9 to bring you music played loud in clubs, random talk on the radio and superb professionalism while hosting events and chook raffles. He also makes a dam good cup of earl gray tea but unfortunately isn't allowed to have a kettle in the studio or near his Dj equipment so testing his teatotaling skills may be out of the question.
People once said, "if you listen to Bossy deejay or talk on the radio you can hear the waves crashing at the beach on a warm summers day"...they then went on to say "TURN IT UP louder, I can't hear anything with those freekin waves crashing".
Bossy has been in radio for almost 57 years (approximation, statistics show it's more like 7 years).
Currently Bossy talks between songs at Nova 106.9 in Brisbane. His radio experience stretches from Sydney at Nova 96.9 to 102.9 Hot Tomato on the Gold Coast and finally to Bris-vegas. Apart from his passion for radio he also chooses to spend his weekend evenings/nights/mornings deejaying. From the moment he came across an old set of vinyl spinners and one of those fancy volume slider things deejaying has been a great secondary pastime. Having held several residencies at clubs on the Gold Coast and Brisbane Bossy can now be found on Friday nights at the MET and Saturdays at the REGATTA.
Apart from all the above mentioned you may also see Bossy hosting games at Suncorp Stadium for the Brisbane Roar, mixing it up with WWE Superstars when they appear in Brisbane, EmCeeing events like Future Music and the EKKA or selling burnt copies of ABBA's greatest hits at the Southbank Markets.
